[OF MYCE & MANKIND]

A bio-data sonification project exploring the quiet connections between humans, plants, and mycelium.

I created a playful electronic instrument that links to living organisms—like oyster mushrooms sprouting from a book—using electrode pads to read bio-electric signals, along with ambient light, temperature, and motion data. This information is translated into MIDI and processed through Max MSP, generating live sound shaped by the organisms and their environment.
